What Does It Mean to Be Truly Romantic? [video]

I question the modern idea of romanticism, relating it to the way humans began to idealize wild nature since the Romantic movement of the 18th century. I argue that love is not something offered by the other (a partner and/or wild nature), but something produced internally, and that true “romanticism” is born from a realistic acceptance of human nature and wild nature.
